Welcome to OWL for Gwent Neighbourhood Watch & Business Watch
November 2011 Update
In the 5 months since June the number of households and businesses participating in watch schemes has doubled to 8,000. Tthe number of watche has more than doubled to 2,000. Thank you to the Neighbourhood Policing Teams and local NHW coordinators who have been very busy signing people up and, importantly, keeping communities alerted to local issues through the use of OWL's messaging facilities.
Please make sure your NHW Coordinator has your email address. Coordinators should make sure their area, ward or county level coordinators have their email address. Or if you have been given a Data Consent Form, please complete it (making sure your email address is clearly written) and return it to the address shown on the form or hand it to your local Neighbourhood officer.
If you haven't been given a Data Consent Form to sign up to OWL and you would like to receive the latest messages from the police, please contact your local Neighbourhood officer to request one. To find out who your local officer is, please visit the Gwent Police website, and enter your postcode on the homepage: www.gwent.police.uk
