Welcome to OWL for West Yorkshire Neighbourhood Watch & Business Watch
OWL is used by West Yorkshire Police to communicate with watch members across Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield.
OWL is an advanced solution for police & communities to grow and manage Neighbourhood Watch, Business Watch, Rural Watch and dozens of other schemes. OWL provides watch members with the latest messages and crime alerts sent by email, telephone, SMS or fax.
Please log in if you have already been sent a password from OWL. To join your local Neighbourhood Watch, or if you are already in a watch but don't have a password, please enter your postcode below to join or get in touch.
To register or get in touch with your nearest watch scheme please select the scheme you're most intersted in and provide your full residential or business postcode.
Schemes running in West Yorkshire include Neighbourhood Watch, Business Watch, Rural Watch and Community Messaging. Please select one from the list above.
OWL Has National Police Approval
OWL is a member of Secured by Design, the initiative from the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) that aims to reduce crime through innovative products and processes. The SBD logo is the only symbol that guarantees national Police approval of a product.
During and after the login process, all data sent between your computer and OWL will be securely encrypted over the Internet. Please keep your OWL password a secret and never disclose it to anyone, not even someone claiming to be an official from the police or OWL.
If you don't fancy joining Neighbourhood Watch but would like to receive occasional crime prevention advice and news direct from West Yorkshire Police, then why not sign up to Community Messaging?
If you prefer to also receive local crime alerts then it's best to join NHW instead. If you already receive NHW messages from OWL then you do not need to sign up to Community Messaging.
